PTR-MS Applications in Medical Research:
The Journal of Breath Research (http://www.iop.org/EJ/journal/JBR) is going to publish a focus issue on the topic of “PTR-MS Applications in Medical Research” and Jens Herbig will serve as Guest Editor for this forth coming issue. The focus issues are designed to highlight current research in particularly interesting areasThey include around 10-15 invited research papers, together with a lead Editorial article, and are printed together as part of one of the regular issues of the journal. Past focus issues have been very popular and widely read in their respective communities.

Scope

The scope of this focus issue is breath analysis with PTR-MS and topics related to this field.

Dates/Deadline

The submitted papers, along with selected others, will appear in the focus issue which is currently planned to appear June 2009.

The deadline has been extended:
The official deadline for submitting an article was 1st November 2008. The Journal of Breath Research will now accept post-deadline submissions. Note that if the peer review process of a post-deadline submission takes too long so that the publication of this special issue would be delayed, it will be published in one of the following issues.

Please note that all articles will be refereed according to the standard practice and quality standards of the Journal of Breath Research.
